Why would I choose it after living in Rome for seven years? The location is ideal—right next to my favorite pedestrian bridge, the Ponte Sisto, which has stood for over five centuries. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Trastevere—cross the bridge and you’ll find yourself eating well and affordably, or indulging in high-end cuisine—whatever you prefer.It’s a 20-minute walk along the Tiber River to the Vatican, 10 minutes to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, and just 5 minutes to Campo de’ Fiori, where you can sip wine in the evening or visit the market by day. During peak season, there’s rarely availability. - 47 Boutique Hotel is perfect for those seeking privacy and maximum comfort in the center of Rome. The hotel primarily attracts American guests, with only a small percentage of Russian-speaking tourists—which many travelers consider a plus. The staff speaks a little Russian, and several of my clients have stayed here, all of whom were extremely satisfied with the service.
The location is ideal—near the Mouth of Truth, Capitoline Hill, and ancient Roman temples. There’s also a luxurious rooftop restaurant, perfect for celebrating a birthday or anniversary with your significant other.
- A great bonus at the Boutique Hotel Campo de’ Fiori is the beautifully designed rooftop terrace, available to all guests. It’s rarely crowded and offers a peaceful retreat above the city. This hotel is more affordable than the first two options.
The location is a dream—perfect for anyone looking to fall in love with Rome.

The interior is adorned with valuable frescoes and exposed wooden ceiling beams. The comfortable rooms feature air conditioning and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. During summer, a hearty buffet breakfast—offering both savory and sweet options—is served on the hotel’s rooftop terrace with stunning views of Rome. Surrounding Camilla Savelli are many historic buildings (including the hotel itself), charming cobbled squares, and great local restaurants. The Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere is just a 5-minute walk away. It also features a rooftop swimming pool. Just imagine sipping champagne—or a classic Italian cappuccino—while gazing at one of the world’s most iconic monuments. Yes, living beautifully is absolutely possible—and encouraged. Each room comes with air conditioning, satellite TV, and a minibar. On weekdays, breakfast includes fresh local products. The Colosseo metro station is about half a kilometer away, and right across from the hotel is the Basilica of San Clemente.Address: Via Labicana 144, Rione Monti, from €200 - Trilussa Palace Hotel Congress & Spa is located on Viale di Trastevere, just a 10-minute walk from the culinary paradise of Trastevere, where you can feel the soul of the Eternal City, mingle with locals and visitors in a laid-back atmosphere, and try some of the best pizza in the world. You can reach the historic center and main attractions on foot in about 30 minutes. There’s also a stop for Tram 8 nearby, and on Sundays, the famous Porta Portese flea market takes place close by.
