How to Get from Verona Airport to the City Center

The airport in Verona (Aeroporto Valerio Catullo) is located 10 km from the city center and is named after one of the most famous poets of Ancient Rome, Gaia Valerius Catulla. The second name of the airport is Villafranca.

You can get from the airport to the city either by bus or taxi. Let’s take a closer look at the pros and cons of each option.

By Bus to Verona Porta Nuova

From the airport to Verona Central Station (Verona Porta Nuova), a special bus, N199, runs every 20 minutes. The ticket costs 6 EUR. The travel time is 15 minutes. You can buy a ticket with an open date/time in advance online on the official website atv.linkavel.com – this is very convenient if you do not want to waste time upon arrival.
