The city of Sirmione on the shores of Lake Garda (Lago di Garda) is famous for its thermal springs, which annually receive tens of thousands of patients who want to improve their health. Five hotels in Sirmione have their own thermal pools and offer their guests SPA treatments – this is a more exclusive and expensive holiday.
The local water contains a lot of hydrogen sulfide, iodine, and bromine, so it is excellent for the prevention of respiratory system diseases, as well as for the treatment of bronchitis, otitis, laryngitis, blood vessels, diabetes, varicose veins, and dozens of other diseases.

Hotel Ocelle Thermae&Spa
The 5***** Ocelle Thermae&Spa is one of the most modern and most expensive in Sirmione. The cost of a double room is from 300 Euros/night. The hotel is for adults only.
The ideal lakeside location; it takes less than a 10-minutes walk to get to Sirmione Castle. The outdoor thermal pool is open all year round, while the regular pool is open only in season. Guests also have access to a sauna, massage, and hot tub. The staff speaks Russian, German, English, French, Italian.
If the price is acceptable for you, book it and do not even waste your time looking through other options.

Hotel Sirmione
Hotel Sirmione is a 4**** hotel ideally located in the historic center of Sirmione. The hotel overlooks the marina and the Scaliger Castle. It is slightly cheaper than the first option – a room costs about 230 Euros/day.
Available for guests: an outdoor thermal pool is overlooking the lake, a free Finnish sauna, water path, sensory shower, relaxation area, and hot tub.
The hotel has an excellent restaurant Dei Poeti specializing in the cuisine of northern Italy.
Hotel Olivi Thermae & Natural Spa
The 4**** Olivi Thermae & Natural Spa is surrounded by olive groves right on the Sirmione peninsula.
You can visit the outdoor pool heated by thermal water or the indoor saltwater pool in the Spa area. A sauna, a hot tub, a sensory shower – make it a wonderful relaxation area. It is crucial that guests over 18 years only are allowed in the spa.
Hotel Fonte Boiola
The only drawback of the 3*** Hotel Fonte Boiola
is that it must be booked at least 3 months in advance. In March, I was looking for dates for early June, and I could hardly find a room. Hotel Fonte Boiola is relatively inexpensive – only 160 Euros per night.
The hotel has an outdoor thermal pool available all year round. Massages and various wellness treatments are there for you. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel.

Grand Hotel Terme
Grand Hotel Terme – the most expensive and famous one in Sirmione. The cost of the double room is about 500 Euro, breakfast is included.
Grand Hotel Terme is located next to the historic center. The thermal pool is big enough, and it offers a stunning view of the lake.
Parking for guests of the hotel is free. That is the place where one wants to return again and again.
