Camping on Italy’s seashore starts at €24 per night for a two-person tent. However, this type of lodging isn’t exactly cheap: families with children and large groups of friends often choose it, renting bungalows or mobile homes with full amenities—a private bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower; a kitchen with refrigerator and stove; and a terrace furnished with garden furniture.
Prices for such units are considerably higher—ranging from €70 to €120 per night or more—but you’ll enjoy a truly comfortable retreat. Naturally, this applies to the high season in Italy, which runs in July and especially August.

Features of Campsite Accommodation
Campsites are fully formed villages located near rural communities or resort towns. You’ll find shops, farm stands, restaurants, and pizzerias. The grounds provide space for grilling or barbecuing. Nearly every site features its own swimming pools—often multiple, including separate children’s and adult pools—plus playgrounds and sports fields.
It’s customary to book accommodations for at least seven nights. Shorter stays incur higher rates or may not allow cabin bookings at all. You can arrive with your own tent—at an additional fee—or tow a trailer, for which a dedicated pitch will be assigned.
